Model railway manufacturer PECO has announced that its special collection of 00-9 Gauge four-wheel box vans that commemorate 50 years of the much-loved duo of Wallace & Gromit is now available.
PECO has brought Wallace & Gromit to the model railway scene in collaboration with Aardman, the creative brains behind Wallace & Gromit, with a special “Aardman’s 50 Years of Clay” collection, which includes liveries inspired by three of the duo’s memorable films – The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, and A Matter of Loaf and Death.

Four wagons can be purchased individually, while an exclusive Collectors’ Set also includes a unique Aardman 50th Anniversary wagon.
The four individual wagons in the Wallace & Gromit 00-9 Collection, each with their own distinctive livery, include:
- Preston’s Dog Food;
- Bake-O-Lite;
- Wash ’N’ Go;
- Top Bun.
All four wagons, as well as the Aardman 50th Anniversary wagon, are brought together in the Aardman 50th Anniversary Collectors’ Set, which is presented in an illustrated magnetic presentation case featuring official Wallace & Gromit artwork.

As well as the five wagons, the Collectors’ Set includes the illustrated magnetic presentation case, a 12-page commemorative Wallace & Gromit booklet, and six collectors’ postcards featuring official artwork; as Wallace might say, “That’s just grand.”
As well as this being the year when Aardman celebrates 50 Years of Clay, which looks back over five decades of craft, creativity, characters, and stories, 2026 is also the 80th anniversary of the founding of PECO.
More information about wagons and availability for the Aardman 50 Years of Clay collection can be obtained from local PECO stockists.
Last year, PECO came up with the novel idea for Christmas gifts of vouchers that allow modellers to go behind the scenes at the company’s workshop at Beer in Devon.
