In our latest upload to our YouTube channel, we take a trip to the Epping Ongar Railway and see 4953 Pitchford Hall in action.

Our visit tied in with the Steam Gala event taking place, which meant the line was running an intensive timetable with 3 locomotives on service trains (4953 Pitchford Hall, 6989 Wightwick Hall and 4144) and King George on Brake Van rides.

In this video, we see 4953 Pitchford Hall arriving at North Weald during the gala, and then it had to wait for 4144 to arrive from Ongar.

To finish off the video, we see 4953 Pitchford Hall heading off to Ongar in a cloud of steam – it was a fantastic spectacle to see.
