Another new video on our YouTube channel features King George on brake van rides on the Epping Ongar Railway.
No. 2409 King George was appearing at the gala thanks to the Didcot Railway Centre, where the locomotive was restored.
King George was built in 1942 and is seen here providing Brake Van Rides to Epping Forest and back, something which proved popular throughout the event.
The locomotive, which appeared in its striking blue livery, worked at collieries in Nottinghamshire before being sold in 1980 and moving to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
