We have uploaded a new video to our YouTube channel, featuring the East Lancashire Railway’s 2026 Legends of Steam Gala!

The video begins at our first location – Irwell Vale, as we see visiting Pacific, No. 60163 Tornado, pass through on a freight train, quite the rarity for the A1.

60163 Tornado was visiting thanks to the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.

Next through Irwell Vale, which has recently been made a request stop, was 34092 City of Wells with its full-line train to Rawtenstall.

After Wells had passed through, we headed to Ramsbottom, where we saw 34092 return from Rawtenstall, and 11456 pass through with its short rake of carriages bound for Rawtenstall.

Our final stop-off for this trip was Summerseat, with more shots of 11456 before we finished off with A1 60163 Tornado passing through with a passenger train.
