Virgin Trains Ticketing is offering double Virgin Points on train tickets purchased by Sunday, 20th September.
The offer will be especially useful for students returning to school and university.
Anyone who books a train ticket through Virgin Trains Ticketing before 20th September will be rewarded with six Virgin Points for every £1 they spend, instead of the usual three points per £1.

Although the offer only applies to tickets purchased through Virgin Trains Ticketing, the offer is valid for all train journeys throughout England, Scotland, and Wales, and on any train operator.
Tickets bought during the offer can be used after the offer period as well as during the offer period.
An added advantage of purchasing tickets through Virgin Trains Ticketing is that there are no booking fees.
An added incentive to using Virgin Trains Ticketing is that anyone who purchases a digital Railcard through the site during the offer period will receive an additional 2,000 Virgin Points, which is equivalent to a saving of £10 on a future journey.
To take advantage of the bonus, after purchasing a Railcard, customers should enter the code from their confirmation email in the Virgin Trains Ticketing app, then link their Virgin Red account.
It will take up to 14 days for the points to be credited to customers’ accounts.

As well as Virgin Trains Ticketing offering savings on future train travel, Virgin Points offers hundreds of rewards with Virgin Red, including flights, hotel stays, and voyages, as well as dining, gigs, and cinema tickets.
