Throughout summer, families have been exploring and visiting new locations.

The Great Central Railway is now inviting families to visit the railway and cross it off their summer list.

From 22nd August, they are offering an unlimited day ticket for £10 per person, and children’s tickets are available for just £1.

The offer provides a full day out, with visitors able to explore each station and complete a free activity pack.

The railway wanted to create something affordable to allow more people to visit the railway.

Visitors will also be able to learn about the locomotives on site, with a steam locomotive on static display, providing lots of photo opportunities.

The offer runs until the 31st August, so don’t miss out.

“We also recognise that the cost of days out can add up quickly, particularly over the summer holidays, and we wanted to make sure that a visit to the Great Central Railway was within reach for as many people as possible. This offer gives those who might not normally be able to afford a day out the chance to come and enjoy the railway, explore our stations and spend a full day together without a large price tag.

“By coming to see us, visitors can enjoy a great experience while also helping support the railway. It’s been a challenging summer, particularly with the prolonged hot and dry weather, so we’re really hoping people will take advantage of this offer.”
