The Llangollen Railway held their Ales from Wales Real Ale Trains earlier this year, which were a booming success.
The railway has now announced two more Ale events, but this time with a theme.
On the 31st of October, there will be a Halloween edition, and on the 12th of December, a Christmas one.
Passengers are encouraged to dress up for the Halloween edition, enjoy the spooky atmosphere and themed menu.
Passengers on these ale trains receive a Llangollen Railway branded souvenir pint cup.
If you miss out on these events, there are plenty more reasons to visit the railway, with a packed season:
- The Corwen Special (Ales from Wales) – Saturday 15 August
- Ales from Wales Train – Saturday 12 September
- Ales from Wales Train – Saturday 10 October
- Ride the Rocket – Saturday 7 November
- Santa Specials – Selected dates from late November to Christmas Eve
- Siôn Corn Arbennig – Selected dates during the Christmas season
- Mince Pie Specials – 27 December 2026 to Friday 1 January 2027, including the special New Year’s Day service.
