Track improvement work will impact Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram services between the 26th July and 9th August.

Services will not run between Wilkinson Street and The Forest during this time.

The improvements are part of an ongoing investment to keep the network reliable, with service resuming on 10th August.

Replacement buses will be operating directly between Wilkinson Street and The Forest, with stops in between remaining closed

Further information can be found on their website.

“Ensuring we carry out routine maintenance work is essential for providing a safe and reliable service for the thousands of passengers who use our trams. The tram network serves communities across the city every day, and by regularly renewing and refreshing our infrastructure, this means we can continue to deliver a tram service that passengers can rely on.

“We apologise for any inconvenience these upcoming works may cause. During this time, where possible we’d encourage customers to allow a little extra time before travelling. Passengers that normally use the Wilkinson Street Park & Ride can make use of The Forest Park & Ride, where they are able to board the tram directly into the city for a more convenient onwards journey. We thank all our customers in advance for their patience and co-operation while works are completed.”

Andy Downie, head of operations and safety at NET
