Sadly, a person has been hit by a train in the Guildford area and means that all lines are closed whilst the emergency services complete their work.

All lines between Guildford and Havant / Reigate have been closed with major disruption expected until 1pm.

Great Western Railway says that passengers can use their ticket on Southern, Thameslink and Elizabeth Line services.

South Western Railway says that trains between Guildford and Farncombe are suspended, with trains between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour now diverting via Eastleigh.

London Waterloo to Haslemere trains will start and terminate at Guildford.

SWR tickets can be used on Southern services and First Berkshire & Thames Valley.
