After Thomas’ successful visit in May, the Watercress Line in Hampshire will welcome the popular All Tank Engine again from Tuesday 4 until Sunday 9 August.

Described as a “fun-filled family event”, Day Out With Thomas: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll Tour includes live entertainment, and a chance to meet and have a photo taken with Sir Topham Hatt. There will also be garden games, arts and crafts, storytelling and an exclusive Thomas & Friends™ character hunt.

The event also features fun inspired by music at the Music Corner and a chance to boogie with Sodor Station Sweepers Rusty & Dust.

Each ticket for the event includes a train ride behind Thomas and access to all the day’s activities.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy arts and crafts in the Play Pod and rides on the miniature railway. Every child will receive Thomas giveaways, and families will be able to buy more merchandise at the on-site gift shop.

There will be food and drinks available on-site for visitors to buy. 

Tickets for a Day Out With Thomas: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll at the Watercress Line are available from its website. The Railway expect that there will be high demand for tickets, so is advising visitors to book early.

The Watercress Line has hosted Days Out with Thomas in previous years, including in 2025 and 2024.

The ‘Watercress Line’ is the popular name for the Mid-Hants Railway. It run along a ten-mile (16 kilometre) route from New Alresford to Alton, where the connects to the national rail network.
