An image of a man has been released by British Transport Police to aid their investigation into a robbery.

The robbery occurred at St Albans on board a train heading towards London, on the 8th May at around 4:30 am.

A man boarded the train with a group of friends before he acted antisocially towards other passengers. He walked past one individual before turning to grab the victim’s phone and walking off.

When the victim got up to retrieve his phone, he was assaulted.

The man then left the train at Cricklewood.

The man pictured may have information that could help the investigation, and officers would like to speak to him.
