One of the highlights of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s Steam Gala is the express trains that run throughout the weekend.

For the 2026 gala, we attended all four days and managed to capture some of the express trains.

In a new release on our YouTube channel, we feature two of the express trains that ran back-to-back away from Keighley.

On the 1st day, we find ourselves at Ingrow West. 1st up is 34046 Braunton with the express shuttle to Damems, this has to return to Keighley before we then see 78022 and 45407 (facing Keighley) head towards Oxenhope with the express.

This is an extract from our full 3-disc set. This 3 Disc Set includes footage of 5029 Nunney Castle, 34046 Braunton, 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier and the home fleet with an intensive timetable.

The set features around 3 hours of content, with all stations visited as well as a number of lineside locations.

Night footage and onboard footage also feature during the 4-day gala, as well as express trains and double headers. You can find full details at www.railadvent.co.uk/KWVR26
