Next Tuesday, 9th June, is the release date for Train Sim World’s longest UK route, the 108-mile West Coast Main Line via the Trent Valley from Milton Keynes to Crewe, with Avanti West Coast with BR Class 807 Evero and Class 350/4 trains.
The route has been developed by All Aboard Studios, whose first route was WCML Birmingham – Crewe, and with an Avanti West Coast Class 805 Add-on, which was released by Dovetail Games last year.

In timetable mode, there are 478 playable services, but the use of AI increases that figure to 2,301 layers in total. Among the different scenarios are: failed trains, poor weather conditions. and realistic communications with the signaller.
Interest can be enhanced by adding further add-ons to make the route more playable, and with more AI services added to the timetable. These could include:
- Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino.
- Avanti West Coast Class 805 Evero.
- CrossCountry Class 220 Voyager (two services, and AI at Stafford & Tamworth High Level.
- Class 350/2 and /3 (Birmingham-Crewe).

- Transport for Wales (TfW) Class 150/153 ECS moves and AI (Cardiff City Network).
- East Midlands Trains (EMT) Class 158 Express Sprinter (Midland Main Line).
- West Midlands Railway (WMR) Class 170s at Nuneaton
- CrossCountry (XC) Class 170s at Nuneaton and Tamworth High Level.
- Cargo Line Petroleum used for AI freight through Tamworth High Level.
- Cargo Line Aggregates used for AI freight through Nuneaton.
West Coast Main Line Trent Valley: Milton Keynes – Crewe for Train Sim World 6 will cost £32.99 and be released on 9th June for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

Anyone who has not yet upgraded to Train Sim World 6 can do so with Train Sim World 6: Deluxe Edition, which also gives access to three new routes: Riviera Line, Morristown Line and Leipzig-Dresden, as well as a CrossCountry Class 220 Voyager, which layers into services on WCML: Milton Keynes – Crewe.
