Nintendo Switch players can take to the tracks as Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor officially steams onto the scene.

Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor brings the stories to life as an interactive experience from the first-person perspective.

Switch users can drive Thomas, Percy, Gordon, Emily, and Diesel, as well as James – the latter coming as part of the Deluxe Edition.

The game has eight stories, including Thomas & Gordon, Thomas & Bertie’s Great Race, and Percy’s Troublesome Day, each narrated by Mark Moraghan and backed by music specially composed for the games.

As well as the stories, there are three additional game modes: Timetable Mode, Explore Mode, and a Shunting Challenge.

In the Shunting Challenge, players must use as few moves as possible for Diesel to shunt Troublesome Trucks into a certain order.

In Timetable Mode, players select a character and drive a day in the life of that character on the Island of Sodor, or they can select a service at different times of the day.

In Explore Mode, players can explore the Island on foot, by train, or by driving a train.
