Vintage bus enthusiasts will be flocking to the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway, colloquially known as The Middy, at Brockford near Stowmarket in Suffolk on Sunday, 28th June, for its Vintage Bus Day special event.

Plenty of vintage buses will fill the station car park, and at the station platform will be a 4-wheel diesel railbus

This will be the first time that Brockford Station has played host to both rail and road buses at the same time.

Not all the buses will be on static display, as both the railbus and some of the road buses will also be giving rides around the local area.

The railbus will be providing rides along the extended line to a new station at Aspall Halt, which is still under construction, but will be open for passengers to alight and enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

As well as the bus display in the station car park, the museum, tea room, restoration shed, real ale bar, and souvenir shop will also be open.

Admission costs £15 for adults, £8 for under-16s, and £38 for family tickets, and there is free parking available.
