This upcoming July, Vintage Trains has planned a steam-hauled journey to Liverpool.

The mainline service will run from Birmingham New Street to Liverpool on the 11th July.

The Ticket to Ride journey will call at Coleshill Parkway, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Lichfield Trent Valley, Stafford and Crewe before arriving in Liverpool.

Passengers can also access exclusive discounts for The Beatles Story and the Mersey Ferry.

Tickets start from £62.50, with both Pullman and First Class dining options available for those wanting the full experience.

Further information and tickets are available online.

RailAdvent Gold members can also access a discount for Vintage Trains tours. Further information on discounts can be found here.

“Liverpool is a city with an incredible sense of its own history, and we wanted to give people a way of arriving that matches that. Steam travel and cultural heritage are a natural fit, and with tickets starting at £62.50, there’s no reason this has to be a special occasion purchase. It’s a genuinely accessible day out.”

Nick Ralls, Managing Director of Vintage Trains
