Hot on the heels of the Severn Valley Railway Branchline Weekend, we have made another addition to the RailAdvent Plus Gold member streaming library, and this one lets the smaller engines take charge!

This DVD sees us visit the East Lancashire Railway for their Small Engines Gala 2026.

The start of the Gala calendar in the North West showcases the smaller engines, and 2026 at the East Lancashire Railway was no different.

Willy the Well Tank and The King joined the smaller engines at the East Lancashire Railway for a weekend of steam and diesel.

This 1-disc set features around 1 hour’s worth of footage from the event, including double headers and a Quadruple Header to finish the day off nicely, as well as onboard footage.

Look out for diesel shunters making rare appearances on passenger trains and the likes of the Pug heading to Rawtenstall.
