Northern has launched a new ticket that will allow passengers travelling across Cumbria to switch between trains, buses and boats.

The Cumbria Travel Pass provides unlimited travel on Northern, TransPennine Express, and Avanti trains across the county. There are numerous Stagecoach bus options that the ticket can be used on, with some Windemere Lake Cruises boats being available too.

The ticket can be bought for £40 per person for one day or £99 for three days, with railcards being applicable.

This option replaces previous Ranger tickets, for which there were five options available; this ticket streamlines options, making travel easier and more convenient.
