The heatwave is set to affect those travelling in and out of London Euston over the next few days.

Timetables have been reduced due to the expected 37°c highs from today (23rd June) until the 25th June.

The station is expected to be very busy, and on the 24th and 25th, people are advised not to travel and only do so if essential.

There will be disruption across the network, with services running at a reduced speed, less often and will be subject to last-minute cancellations, revisions, or delays.

Journeys can be checked online before travel.

“With weather warnings in place across the country for extreme hot weather, services in and out of London Euston will be reduced this week.

“We strongly advise customers to plan ahead, check their journeys, and only travel if absolutely necessary on the hottest days. If you do need to travel, please allow extra time and carry water to stay cool.

“We’re working closely with our train operator partners to protect the reliability of the railway during the extreme heat. This includes running trains at slower speeds at some locations to keep people and our infrastructure safe.”
