A new experience awaits Train Sim World Classic players with Dovetail Games’ release of an Add-on for the Portsmouth Direct Line from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour.
Construction of what is now known as the Portsmouth Direct Line began in 1838. Running through urban landscapes and rural pastures, and climbing surprisingly steep gradients, there are plenty of station stops to challenge even the most expert driver.

The new Add-on is mainly based on services in 2016-17, including peak and off-peak services, weekend engineering works, and problems with running trains in winter, especially when ice coats the third rail.
Services are provided by Class 444, 450, and 455 electric multiple units (EMUs), and Class 159 diesel multiple units (DMUs). There are two scenarios for the Class 444, three for the Class 450, three for the Class 455, and two scenarios for the Class 159.
The Portsmouth Direct Line Waterloo – Portsmouth Harbour Scenario Pack 01 is available now.

The news of the release of the Portsmouth Direct Line from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour follows soon after the release of the West Coast Main Line Crewe to Preston route and two American BNSF 3,800-horsepower diesel units for Train Sim World 6.
