The British Transport Police are investigating an incident that happened last month on a Victoria Line train from Stockwell to London Victoria.

On the 9th May, a man on the train was approached by two other men, one of whom picked up the man’s bag.

When the man tried to take the bag back, the two men attacked him with glass bottles, being hit over the head with them.

The attack continued onto the platform at London Victoria before the two fled the scene.

The victim of the attack suffered a fractured jaw and needed 10 stitches on his head.

Detectives have released images in connection with the attack as they believe they may have information.
