A CCTV image has been released in connection with an assault which happened on board a train earlier this month.

British Transport Police have been investigating the incident that occurred on the 3rd June at around 3:20 pm on a train to Luton Airport Parkway.

The victim of the assault asked a passenger to move so he could sit down due to his mobility issues.

The passenger responded aggressively, proceeding to place his hand on the back of the victim’s head and lift him by the throat.

The man pictured may have information that could help the investigation, and should anyone recognise him, they should contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 439 of 3 June.
