The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways kick off their ‘Extreme Steam Extravaganza’ Summer Gala on the 19th June.

They have announced that there will be a Mini Model Railway Show at Y Gweithdy in Minffordd Station.

The model show adds a little something extra for families and enthusiasts alike.

There will be numerous layouts and visitors will be able to learn about traditional railway signwriting, volunteering opportunities and station gardening projects.

Paintings from Ben Powell will also be on sale alongside a second-hand book stall.

Entry is free and will be open 10:00 – 16:00 on the 20th and 21st June.

Visitors are advised to travel via train services as parking is limited.

Those attending can also take part in their Golden Box Giveaway and try (and buy) a limited edition whisky, produced to raise funds to restore Blanche.
