Dovetail Games has launched its Train Simulator summer sale, and has issued an update on its Rail Subscription products.
The British simulation video game developer and publisher, which was established in 2008, has revealed a range of discounts on its products.
The sale includes simulators of routes in the UK, Germany, the United States and China.
The Guiguang High Speed Railway add-on for the route between Guilin and Hezhou is reduced in price by 80 per cent, to £4.99.

Other products have their prices reduced by 70 per cent, including the add-on for the Midland Main Line route from Nottingham to Lincoln; and the add-on for the Chatham Main Line from London Victoria and Blackfriars to Dover and Ramsgate in Kent.
The games company, which last week released new add-ons for the Preston to Crewe route, and the Portsmouth Direct Line, has also updated information on its Rail Subscription products.
Rail Subscription is an optional extra for people who play Train Simulator Classic, offering a selection of routes and locomotives ready to play with the base game. Rail Subscription includes access to the Train Simulator Classic simulator, with players not required to make a separate purchase.
It includes the Train Simulator Academy, in which players can begin a virtual career as a virtual train driver or engineer. In addition, the Train Simulator Editor allows players to create worlds, using the tools provided and with full Steam Workshop support.
The platform’s Blast from the Past – Summer 2026 now has three additional routes: Wutachtalbahn, Woodhead Line and Southern Pacific Cab Forward.

Rail Subscription’s routes include a wide range of rail experiences, including countryside routes with scenic landscapes and busy cities. Players can operate either passenger or freight services.
Its routes include: Chatham Main Line: London Victoria & Blackfriars – Dover & Ramsgate; Edinburgh – Glasgow; Frankfurt – Koblenz; Hamburg – Hanover; Konstanz – Villingen; London to Brighton; NEC: New York – New Haven; Norddeutsche-Bahn: Kiel – Lübeck; Norfolk Southern Coal District; Norfolk Southern N-Line; Norfolk Southern Saluda Grade; Semmeringbahn – Mürzzuschlag to Gloggnitz; Soldier Summit; Sherman Hill; The Rhine Railway: Mannheim – Karlsruhe; WCML South: London Euston – Birmingham; West Rhine: Cologne – Koblenz; Wutachtalbahn; and the Woodhead Line.
