Day Out With Thomas: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll Tour arrives at The Watercress Line from 23 to 31 May, bringing a week of railway-themed family entertainment to the heritage line.

Each ticket includes a ride behind Thomas, a real steam engine, alongside access to a full programme of activities across the day.

Visitors can meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, enjoy live performances from Sodor Station Sweepers Rusty & Dusty, Percy, Diesel and Toad, and take part in storytelling, arts and crafts, garden games and a Thomas & Friends character hunt.

Music-themed attractions include an interactive instrument trail, a giant piano mat and Music Corner activities.

The event also features miniature railway rides, fairground attractions, photo opportunities with Thomas, giveaways for children and an on-site shop stocking Thomas & Friends merchandise, including a limited-edition engine while supplies last.

Activities are set to run from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, with train services available every half hour from 9:50 am – 4:45 pm. Tickets for the event are available online or in person. Thomas will also return for more family fun in August.

“Day Out With Thomas is always one of the highlights of our events calendar, and this year’s Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll Tour is bringing an extra burst of musical energy to the railway. It will be wonderful to see families enjoying the excitement of Thomas arriving at the station and joining in with all the Thomas-themed activities on offer.

“This is a very popular event, so I would recommend that people do book early to secure their tickets. It promises to be a fantastic day out for families to enjoy.”

Rebecca Dalley, CEO of The Watercress Line.
