Wabtec UK has signed a three-year exclusive contract for Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group to handle its recruitment.

Under the agreement, which was reached after a competitive tender process, Ford & Stanley will be responsible for the recruitment of permanent and contract staff for the next three years across all levels of Wabtec UK’s business, ranging from the shop floor to senior leadership positions covering all business disciplines.

The partnership follows a significant investment by Wabtec in opening a new maintenance facility at Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire, where over 150 new jobs are set to be created in roles covering Engineering & Technical, Operations & Manufacturing, Commercial & Business Support, and Leadership.

The Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group has over 35 years’ experience in recruiting for all roles from the shopfloor to the boardroom. It has offices in Derby and London, providing services to both UK and international clients, where it provides talent market insights, talent planning, IR35 support, Leadership Training, Performance Coaching and Mental Fitness Support. It is also keen on protecting the environment, and sponsors a conservation meadow in Derbyshire.
