Train Sim World players can now buy the Great British Railways (GBR) Class 802 in a new livery.
Dovetail Games has been working with the UK government to develop the new identity for the locomotive since it was unveiled in December last year.
In real life, GBR’s branding and logo will feature on trains, websites and stations, bringing the railway under one brand.

Players will be able to operate the Class 802 locomotive across two UK routes in Train Sim World 6. They can choose to drive it along either the East Coast Main Line between Peterborough and Doncaster, or the Riviera Line between Exeter, Plymouth and Paignton.
There are two dedicated scenarios for players to tackle on each route.
These are Flying the Flag, Riviera Rendezvous, Snow Stopper and Can’t Park There, Sir! These scenarios include coping with winter weather, driving along the coast, and dealing with a car on a level crossing.
In each direction on both routes, there will be a special “All Stops” timetable service, as well as
select timetable substitution.
Free Roam allows players to explore the network in their own way. There are more than twenty modern-era routes available for players to follow in Free Roam, and the Class 802 loco’s bi-mode capability makes it possible for players to operate across both electrified main lines and unelectrified branches.
Several options are available to Free Roam players, including travelling along the Medway Valley in Kent, driving through the suburbs of Birmingham in the West Midlands, and operating a commuter service in Cardiff and Cathcart, South Wales, as well as adventures along the West Coast Main Line, through scenic countryside in Somerset, and on the Isle of Wight.

The Class 802 in its GBR livery is available in both 5-car and 9-car formations, with bimodal (electric and diesel) gameplay.
Train Sim World 6: Great British Railways Class 802 is now available for Epic Games Store, Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 for £4.99 / €5.99 / $5.99.
Dovetail Games recommends that players own Train Sim World 6: Riviera Line and ECML: Peterborough to Doncaster.
