Passengers using the CrossCountry network are being urged to plan ahead over the upcoming Bank Holiday.
Planned strike action and major events paired with the Bank Holiday are expected to make key routes much busier.
Routes across Birmingham, Stafford and Coventry are expected to be the busiest, with fewer trains from other operators running in these areas.

Some engineering will affect CrossCountry services between York and Darlington, and between Cambridge and Stansted Airport.
While plans are ongoing to keep passengers moving, those travelling should allow extra time and check the latest travel information.
“Across the West Midlands, we’re expecting a very busy Bank Holiday weekend with much-increased travel demand.
“We’re working closely with industry partners to get people where they need to be, but trains are likely to be much busier than usual. We ask customers to plan ahead, check before they travel and allow extra time for their journeys.”
CrossCountry’s Service Delivery Director, Nick Westcott
