Customers using Bottesford station are being advised by East Midlands Railway of upcoming improvement works.
The work will see a designated walking route put in place while the station gets an expanded cycle shelter, improved car park, lighting, CCTV, and signage.
The work will take place over 5 weeks from the 18th May, with the car park at platform 1 being closed for the entire works.
The car park for platform 2 should be used instead.
Passengers must use the new walking route, with the level crossing to be used only when absolutely necessary.
The route only takes around 5 minutes and will be clearly signposted during the work.
“While these important improvement works are taking place at Bottesford station, all customers must follow the clearly signposted walking route between Platform 2 Car Park and the station.
“These upgrades will deliver a better, safer and more welcoming station environment for everyone, with improved parking, lighting, CCTV and cycle facilities. We’d like to thank customers for their patience and cooperation during the works.”
