The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has announced that a full Pickering to Whitby timetable will resume from Monday 1st June 2026.

Bridge 42 near Grosmont has been undergoing temporary propping, but passengers will now be able to enjoy a ride through to Whitby.

One free child ticket is available when travelling with a fare paying adult.

A full repair programme on Bridge 42 will take place in the winter of 2026/27.
