Direct Rail Services has placed 4 Class 57 locomotives up for sale, as well as other assets.
Class 57s No. 57304, 57307 ‘Lady Penelope’, 57308 and 57309 are all up for sale.
Also for sale is a number of parts and materials for both Class 57 and Class 37 locomotives, along with components for Mk2 coaching stock.
The freight operator says that the assets are sold as seen without warranty, with the successful bidder responsible for removing the assets from the site.
The sale tender is open until Wednesday, 27th May 2026, and more details can be found on the DRS website.
