The Bluebell Railway is hosting its Giants of Steam Gala on the 16th to 18th October.

The railway has announced an exciting guest locomotive: BR Standard Class 9F No. 92134.

BR Standard Class 9F No. 92134 is visiting courtesy of the Self Family and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR). The Railway has expressed huge thanks to both of them for making the appearance possible.

The Crewe 1957-built locomotive will appear alongside BR Class 8P No. 71000 ‘Duke of Gloucester’, also built at Crewe in 1954.

The gala is set to feature an intensive timetable and is not to be missed for general visitors and enthusiasts alike.
