Following the release of Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor, Dovetail Games, in collaboration with Matte, has released its findings on reactions to the new standalone Thomas & Friends™ game.

There are a few issues and bugs to be ironed out, and the development team is working on these to ensure they are addressed quickly.

Many players are reporting becoming either stuck or unable to drive trains in Explore Mode, but this can be overcome with a simple change to playing the game.

With this release, it is possible to explore the Island of Sodor like never before, and a video has been launched highlighting some of the sights and sounds to be seen in Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor.

Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor can be purchased from PlayStation, Xbox Store, Epic Games, and Steam, and will soon be available for Nintendo Switch, which has different considerations from other platforms. The release date will be published as soon as possible.

There is also a Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor Deluxe Edition, which includes James, the North Western Railway’s Number 5 red engine, with four extra adventures.

Coming soon is a physical version of Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor on PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. This is expected to be available later this year in the UK, US, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Australia.

Players should also remember to check the FAQs, as they often provide more details about the game, such as how the Island of Sodor was recreated, and the minimum PC requirements to play it.

There is also the official Discord server, where updates will be announced, as well as celebrations around everything to do with Thomas & Friends™: Wonders of Sodor.
