Many thanks for this, I appreciate it very much. HE2387 is my favourite loco on the Railway. I first joined the Middleton Railway when I was, I think, 14. Some 60 years later, I still love it and recommend the Railway for a simple, but good day out at a price that most other preserved railways cannot match. It’s at the side of the M621 (J5 from the south, J4 or 6 from the west). Apart from the tunnel, every inch of the line is photographable and lineside access is no problem.
