Hornby has announced new products being released this April as part of its TT:120 range, including train sets, locomotives, wagons, coaches, and buildings.

Two new train sets include an LMS Duchess with coaches, and a freight train with a BR Class 37, which is available as either analogue or DCC Sound Fitted.

New locomotives include an LMS Stanier ‘Black 5’ in LMS, early and late BR liveries, and Class 30/31 Brush diesel locomotives in BR Green, BR Blue, Railfreight Grey and Civil Engineers ‘Dutch’ liveries.

Previous models again available include a London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) J50 Previous models again available include a London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) J50 Class, a London, Brighton & South Coast Railway (LB&SCR) A1 Class ‘Terrier’ steam locomotive in Isle of Wight lined maroon livery. Other re-releases include a First Great Western Class 43 High Speed Train (HST), Class 08 diesel shunter in EWS livery, and Class 37 diesel locomotives in Transrail Grey and InterCity Swallow liveries.

New wagons include Seacow and Sealion wagons in ‘Dutch’ grey and yellow, departmental olive green, and EWS maroon, an HEA mineral hopper wagon in BR bauxite and Railfreight red and grey, and its rebuilt counterpart, the MEA mineral open wagon in EWS and TLF Coal Sector liveries.

Re-released wagons include 7-plank wagons, ventilated vans, 12T tank wagons, TTA tank wagons, KFA container wagons, HAA coal hopper wagons, and CDA china clay wagons.

New coaches include BR Mk.1 coaches in blue and grey, nine versions of composite corridor and brake second corridor types, each with a unique running number, complete rakes of 4-wheeled coaches in either London and South Western Railway or Isle of Wight livery, two Pullmans, a 1st Class Kitchen and a 3rd Class Brake, and a full eight-car set of First Great Western Mk.3 coaches to go behind the Class 43 Power Cars in the same scheme.

The final announcement is a new half render/half brick Country Cottage, typical of a dwelling along a country lane, and is pre-painted and fitted with separate glazed windows and gutter piping.

Other recent releases from Hornby include an OO Gauge Class 153 in Northern livery and a Class 800 in new Great British Railways livery.
