Chiltern Railways issue advice ahead of London disruption over Bank Holiday

This weekend, there will be London Underground track closures between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham, which will also affect Chiltern Railways services over the same route.

Chiltern Railways requests that its passengers check their journeys carefully before travelling, as there will be no Chiltern Railways services between London and Aylesbury Vale Parkway via Amersham between Saturday 2nd and Monday 4th May.

Rail Replacement Buses will operate connecting with services at Beaconsfield to allow passengers access to and from London this bank holiday weekend.

These buses will call at: Beaconsfield, Amersham, Great Missenden, Wendover, Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury, Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

Any customers wanting to travel between Aylesbury and London are advised to travel via Princes Risborough and High Wycombe, although they are advised that on Sunday, 3rd May, no Chiltern Railways services will operate on routes between London Marylebone, High Wycombe, Oxford, Banbury and Aylesbury until after 08:30.

Customers are requested to:

  • Check their journeys before travelling
  • Allow extra time for their journeys to take place
  • If they can, book their tickets ahead of time via the Chiltern Railways Website or App
