CCTV images released following Oxford Circus theft and assault

Detectives have released images as part of ongoing investigations into a robbery and the assault of two officers at Oxford Circus station in March.

On Sunday, 8 March at 3:15 pm, on the Central Line platform of the station, two men attempted to rob a man of his phone as he exited the train.

Two British Transport Police officers intervened but were assaulted.

The assailants then fled the scene.

British Transport Police are urging anyone who recognises the men in the released images, or who may have relevant information, to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 331 of 8 March. Anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
