British Transport Police have released an image of a man they would like to identify in relation to an assault at Newbury Park Underground station.

On Sunday, 22 March 2026, a stranger walking alongside a man suddenly threw a punch to his face. The strike led to the man falling to the ground, causing loss of consciousness.

The assailant then fled the scene.

Officers looking into the incident would like to speak to the pictured male as they believe he has information regarding the incident that may help with their investigation.

Witnesses or those who may recognise him are being asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 592 of 22 March.
