In 2024/25, Transport for Wales has been helping passengers travel with confidence with their Passenger Assist service.

73,339 passengers have made journeys with the service in the last year, which is a 23% increase on the previous year and is their highest number across the network.

Passenger Assist is easy for passengers to use to access additional support they may need to complete their journeys confidently.

Staff are well trained for both visible and non-visible disabilities and help with planning, getting on and off trains, luggage and purchasing tickets.

As always, passengers can book assistance with TfW up to two hours before their departure time, and staff will be on hand to help those who cannot pre-book.
