Lumo have released tickets for its new service between Scotland and London, which is set to launch soon.
Tickets for travel from the 10th July until the end of Summer are now on sale.
Example fares announced are London – Stirling (£29.90), London – Preston (£23.90) and Preston – Stirling (£14.90).
The above fares can be lowered by using railcards, and Lumo says that there is no booking fees when booking direct.
Lumo services will operate with refurbished Class 222 trains between London Euston and Stirling via Milton Keynes Central, Nuneaton, Crewe, Preston (Lancs), Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Whifflet, Greenfaulds and Larbert.
Four services a day will operate, with an additional Preston – London service.

“These fares are about putting customers first. By offering simple, low-cost tickets and direct services between Scotland, the North West of England and London, we’re making it easier and more affordable for people to travel for work, leisure and family visits.
“Launching Lumo on the West Coast Main Line is an exciting step forward, and with our new base in Preston creating jobs and supporting the local economy, this is a service that will benefit both passengers and communities along the route.”
Stuart Jones, Managing Director of First Rail Open Access

Would be optional if Lumo could allow some of their Class 222s to stop at Stafford/Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe. As Caledonian Sleeper stops at Birmingham International.
Might want to put a clarification (or seek one from Lumo) around the ticket sales section of this article and if it’s route specific as just tried to book a Lumo ticket for 13th July from Preston to Euston and it returns no services (which makes sense given timetables aren’t confirmed over 12 weeks out). Just gives the impression your telling lies when I’m sure you’re just going off what you’ve been told by Lumo
I have had a look on their website this morning and tickets now seem to be available for purchase
