Following three sell-out tours, this spectacular steam adventure, The Cumbrian Mountaineer, returns, hauled by the magnificent British Rail Class 7 70000 ‘Britannia’.

Departing from Crewe on Wednesday, 8 April at 10:35 am, The Cumbrian Mountaineer is set to travel along the iconic West Coast Main Line, the train powers through Preston and Lancaster before tackling the legendary climbs of Grayrigg and Shap Summit, with sweeping views across the Cumbrian Fells en route to Carlisle.

Passengers can enjoy time to explore the historic border city of Carlisle before a thrilling steam-hauled return over Shap to Crewe, a classic main line experience from start to finish.

First class (non-dining) seating is priced at £148 per person, with a £25 per person additional supplement for a private window table for 2.

Standard class (non-dining) seating is priced at £99 per person.
