Police appeal after London Underground passenger punched in head

The British Transport Police has released images after an assault on board a Jubilee Line train.

On Wednesday 4th February, at around 09:55, a man was sat on a seat opposite the victim and began gesticulating towards him.

The victim asked him what he was saying, and he then jumped up and assaulted the victim

The victim was punched in the head repeatedly before other passengers intervened.

The man then launched a second assault on the victim, which required treatment in hospital for bruising and cuts to his face, head and shoulder.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information that can help their investigation.
