Greater Anglia launches online tour of Beaulieu Park station

Train operator Greater Anglia has launched an online virtual tour of Beaulieu Park railway station to help passengers plan journeys and travel with greater confidence.

The 360-degree tour allows users to explore the station before they arrive, helping them understand how to move around the site and locate key facilities. It is particularly useful for disabled passengers, who can check accessible routes in advance and reduce uncertainty about navigating the station.

Visitors can virtually access all public areas, including toilets, ticket machines, platforms, the bus interchange and taxi rank. Detailed panoramic photography recreates the station environment, while aerial images and an interactive map show how facilities connect.

Passengers can jump to specific locations through a drop-down menu or use an “autopilot” feature that automatically guides them to their chosen destination.

The station, which opened in October 2025, is the first new stop on the Great Eastern Main Line in more than a century. It offers up to four trains per hour at peak times, with direct services to London Liverpool Street station in about 40 minutes and to Colchester railway station in around 25 minutes.

The accessible technology includes spoken scene guides, closed captions and display options such as high contrast and larger text. Future updates may include British Sign Language videos, helping ensure rail travel is easier and more inclusive for everyone.
