The High Wycombe and District Model Railway Society is set to celebrate the art of railway modelling once again at its annual MRX26 exhibition on Saturday, 11th April.
The event promises to captivate enthusiasts of all ages, showcasing the creativity and precision involved in this unique hobby, which transforms miniature railways into art.
Visitors can explore 11 impressive model layouts in scales including N, H0, 00, EM, 7mm, and 00-9 narrow gauge. A variety of trade stands will offer ready-to-run models, second-hand items, and specialist books.

The Society is proud to partner with sponsors The Transport Treasury and AGR Model Railway Store, Leighton Buzzard, who help bring an extra dimension to the event.
Young modellers will also have their moment in the spotlight, operating the Society’s popular ‘Mothecombe (00)’ layout, demonstrating that the hobby continues to thrive among the next generation.
Whether you are a seasoned modeller or a family looking for a fun and educational day out, MRX26 promises an immersive journey into the miniature world of railways.
Admission is £6 for adults, £1 for children aged 6–16, and free for under sixes, with funds going towards assisting in the enthusiastic and passionate society in serving the local model railway community.
The exhibition takes place from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm at Cressex Community Centre & Social Club, 203 Cressex Road, High Wycombe, HP12 4PZ.
