Members of the Yorkshire Wolds Railway are preparing to welcome visitors to their annual model railway exhibition in Driffield on Saturday, 14 March. Now in its ninth year, the show runs from 10 am to 4 pm at the Rix Pavilion on Driffield Showground.
Visitors to the model railway exhibition can expect 16 layouts, many new, plus trade stands and refreshments.
Entry costs £10 per adult, while Yorkshire Wolds Railway members and under-16s go free.

The event is the railway’s main fundraiser. The line’s first 2026 running day is 5 April, when trains return to Fimber Halt, running most Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays until the end of October.
“As with previous years, the model show continues to be the main fundraising event for the YWR, and the YWR team look forward to seeing as many visitors as possible as all the money raised goes back into keeping the YWR on track.”
Katy Bowser, Business Development Director of the YWR.“Many special event days have been added to the calendar including opening the site fully every Wednesday during school holidays. All trains run subject to availability and we can’t wait to welcome people back to Fimber Halt!”
Phil Robson, Finance Director.
