London trains subject to major disruption as emergency services attend incident

UPDATE: Trains have returned to normal following the incident

Chiltern Railways is warning passengers of major disruption this morning due to the emergency services attending an incident between Wembley Stadium and South Ruislip.

The incident means that the line to and from London Marylebone is closed, with trains suspended.

The closure is causing cancellations to trains between London Marylebone and West Ruislip / Gerrards Cross / High Wycombe / Aylesbury / Oxford / Kings Sutton / Birmingham Moor Street

Major disruption is expected until 1 pm today (9th March) with trains terminating at West Ruislip.

Ticket acceptance is in place with CrossCountry, Avanti West Coast, Great Western Railway, West Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway, Elizabeth Line, London Underground and Stagecoach Buses.
