A fire in a vape shop near Glasgow Central Station began last night. Thankfully, Network Rail says it is now under control, and both ScotRail and Network Rail have issued statements regarding train services.
The station is currently closed until further notice, with no estimate of when it may reopen.
It means that no trains will be running from the High Level platforms, affecting the likes of ScotRail, TransPennine Express and Avanti West Coast.
The low-level station is also closed, but trains will run through the station non-stop to serve Argyle Street station.
Here are the latest updates that we have available.

08:35 – Updated statements released
“Glasgow Central Station remains closed until further notice, and will not reopen on Monday morning, following a fire in a building on Union Street on Sunday.
“The fire is now under control, but emergency services, including Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, remain on site as they continue to manage the incident.
“All services to Glasgow Central remain suspended and passengers are advised to seek alternative travel arrangements.
“We will continue to provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.”
Network Rail Spokesperson“Unfortunately, we will not be able to operate train services in or out of Glasgow Central high level tomorrow following the impact of the major fire near to the station. Our trains which operate via Glasgow Central low level will continue to run, but will not stop at the station.
“We are sorry to customers for the impact this will cause, and we would urge them to check their journey options before they travel, and we aware there will be very limited replacement transport.
“We will keep customers updated via our social media channels, and you can also visit our website, or use the ScotRail app to find out what services will be operating.”
