Passengers travelling across East Anglia this Easter are being asked to check before travel during periods of service disruption.

London Liverpool Street station will remain fully operational throughout the long bank holiday, with Greater Anglia trains serving destinations including Southend Victoria, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, and Norwich.

West Anglia mainline services, including the Stansted Express, will operate to Cambridge and Stansted Airport via Tottenham Hale, while London Overground trains will run normally on the Lea Valley lines to Cheshunt, Enfield Town, and Chingford.

Some engineering works, however, may affect specific routes. Re-signalling between Cambridge and Ely, maintenance between Stratford and Meridian Water, and track and bridge works near Fenchurch Street and Limehouse may lead to disruptions.

Passengers via Cambridge should note that on 28-29 March and 3-6 April, bus replacements will run between Cambridge and Ely/Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and King’s Lynn, and Stansted Airport and Ely. Trains will still operate to London Liverpool Street, King’s Cross, Norwich, Ipswich, and Brighton.

On 5 April, no trains will run between Stratford and Meridian Water; Hertford East services will be diverted to Liverpool Street.

c2c passengers to Fenchurch Street should expect diverted services via Stratford from 3–6 April, with a Sunday-level timetable on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
