The Bluebell Railway is launching a brand-new event that will run in April and September.

Visitors can enjoy nature on a guided tour, named Birdsong on the Rails.

These special morning services run on 18th-19th April and 12th-13th September, catching both the spring and autumn birds.

During the journey, passengers can look out for familiar favourites such as Robins, Dunnocks, House Sparrows, and Wagtails.

Woodpeckers, Song Thrushes, Kestrels, Red Kites and Buzzards will also be around to spot.

Guides will be on board to help with identification and provide facts about each species spotted.

The change in seasons brings a change in birds to see due to their migration patterns, which you can also learn about on board.

It’s a great event to discover the local wildlife for nature fans and rail enthusiasts.

These trains depart at 7:30 am, and tickets cost £55 per adult.

Further information can be found on their website.
