Two of Greater Anglia’s railway stations have won accolades at the Loo of the Year awards.
Great Yarmouth and Audley End both have Changing Places toilet facilities, and they have both won Platinum Plus grading at the awards.
The Changing Places toilet facility opened at Great Yarmouth back in December 2025.
Greater Anglia says that its new grading showcases its commitment to making the railway accessible to all.
The grading showcases the high standards of cleanliness and accessibility.

Both Great Yarmouth and Audley End’s toilet facilities were made available recently, thanks to a partnership with Muscular Dystrophy UK, and aim to assist people who can’t use usual accessible toilets, with features such as ceiling hoists and an adult-size changing bench.
“We are absolutely delighted that Great Yarmouth / Audley End station’s Changing Places toilet has received a Platinum Plus grading. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our station team, who take great pride in maintaining facilities to the high standards our customers expect.
“Making our network accessible and welcoming for every passenger is incredibly important to us, and we’re very pleased to see that commitment acknowledged.”
James Reeve, Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager
